I’m Dr. Olufunke Adeyemo . For me, being a pediatrician has been nothing but pure joy! With over 12 years of experience, I have had the privilege of dedicating my career to caring for children and helping them thrive.
I began my medical journey at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos in Nigeria, and after a few years as a general practitioner, I relocated to the U.S., where I completed my pediatrics residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working in private practice and eventually starting Fairfield Pediatrics.
I am a board-certified pediatrician, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and a member of the Michigan chapter of the AAP (MIAAP). In addition to my clinical work, I also serve as a Clinical Instructor at the Oakland University William Beaumont (OUWB) School of Medicine and as a faculty attending at Beaumont Children’s Hospital. Teaching medical students and residents is one of my passions, and I love the opportunity to contribute to the future of pediatric care.
At Fairfield Pediatrics, my goal is to make every visit fun and exciting for your child. I believe in partnering with parents and caregivers, listening carefully to understand your family’s unique needs, and providing support and education to help your child achieve their best health. Pediatrics is more than just a job for me—it’s my passion. I am committed to ensuring that every child under my care receives quality care and the attention they deserve.
